Hie...I booked my visa appointment with Spring DS 160 but I'm going for fall intake so I booked new DS 160 form...is there any way to update new DS 160 number on visa appointment or it can only be done during biometric by visa officer only?
In most cases, you can update your Applicant ID in the portal where you scheduled your visa interview. Check the website of the Embassy or Consulate where you plan to apply, and if it's not clear on the website, contact them for clarification.
Officer I as an under graduate student just applied to a good university and get I20 from there. Now I am going to face the embassy with this I20, so will there be any problem?
We hope not, but it's impossible to say without knowing more about your situation. You may want to review our online student visa courses at www.zfvisaguides.com for everything you need to know to prepare. Best of luck!

Thanks for very informative information, how about bout 27 years ago did the American embassy had finger print process?
Embassies and Consulates have been collecting fingerprints for a very long time, so best to assume they have your fingerprints on file.
Do they have statements i made in the previous interview when i go to the second interview
Yes - your previous Visa Officer will have taken notes during your last interview, and those notes are visible at your next interview.
I am interested in the F1 visa application preparation

I got my F1 visa approved yesterday. But I realized I made a mistake on my DS 160 university name. I am panicking and don't know what to do.
The Embassy/Consulate should have correct information from your SEVIS number, but it's best to reach out to the post where you interviewed noting your mistake. Check the website for contact information.
What will the VO officer expects from me, if I am going for an F1 visa with sponsorship from an NGO

Hi! I am from India and going for my visa interview on 28.6.24. I have two issues, so I would like to know your view on it. First I forgot to mention about my Govt job in India in form DS160, So what should be my reply if asked for the same . Second, my brother in law and my daughter is residing in USA. My brother in law is a green card holder while my daughter is about to complete her MS( student visa). So what should be my reply if asked about my relatives in USA. Thank you. 🙏
You should submit an updated D-160 with accurate information if the Embassy allows you to do so (you'll need to update your Applicant ID number on file for your interview). Reach out to us at info@zfvisa.com, and we can help you with your other questions.
Please Mandy can you post a video about an R1 visa category ive been denied an f1 visa 3 times and an R1 twice and I know someone (my extended family) who you helped get a visa. Please 🙏 upload a video about R1, I don’t wanna be denied ever again😭😭😭
Good idea!
Thank U so much...for wonderfull informatin As a advocate what dress code would be the right choice on that day....pls ans
You should wear something that's nice, but also something that you feel comfortable in. Think about what you might normally wear to your office.
Thank Mandy i believe the info will help many more people not only US but other people willing to travel
We hope so!
hey, i really need your help, actually i lost my data in which i lost my B1/B2 visa, appointment confirmation, but i still got pic of it in my phone and DL 160 form, is there any way to download it or something, my appointment is coming up in 1 month, please
If you're referring to your previous visa, the Embassy/Consulate will have that information in their system, so not to worry!
Does visa officer know about the other countries visa that I’m holding? Does visa officer have access by my passport number?
They might, depending on the countries. As always, the best bet is to be honest!
It’s amazing how US de-facto open border policy has absolutely devalues the work you do, as well as the DHS officers at the airport or border crossing. All the meticulous attention can be easily bypassed by anyone who can get to Mexico and walk across. What a joke.
hello mam my f1 was denied recently. i had given short unclear answers didn't speak about the scholarship the university is offering me and the officer also asked me some technical questions related to python which i gave wrong answer of a question. should i address it in my next interview or should i focus on my highlights?
We suggest that you review our online student visa training courses which will teach you how to effectively present your situation to your visa officer. Visit our website - www.zfvisaguides.com. Best of luck!
Waiting from India
4:50 you can’t show photos, because US embassy doesn’t allow to take a phone with you 😂 it’s impossible , or just to print pictures?))
No all photos are on a mobile phone!
Thanks for the info.....
Glad you found it helpful!
Hey, I am a stammerer and i was diagnosed with speech disorder as a kid. I got my F1 visa rejected last week but I answered all questions well with the help of your tips. I didn’t mention my disorder cause the questions came so fast. What should I do in my next interview??
Sorry to hear about your experience. There may be some options to help you improve your chance at your next attempt. Send us an email at info@zfvisa.com, and we'll help you navigate through the process.
So, people are in the line of drugs cartels, robabby, thefts, violence, and illegally living in the USA for several decades, does US visa officer's sixth, seventh, and eighth sense did not work?. What did thwy understand withing 3 minutes and decided refusesd someone?. My 10th sense says their decisions to refusal ina shorter amount of time is irrational like the reason Europe and other country say, " my doubt that the applicant will not return from the country he is go to". Then my question, did they approve visa even after knowing those are granting visa will not leave?.
no.
My husband was denied this morning..😢 after two questions that he answered well and it's a scholarship visa so painful 😢
So sorry to hear about this! We recommend that your husband review our online student visa training courses at www.zfvisaguides.com. There, he'll learn how to most effectively communicate with his visa officer to improve his chance of success.
Thanks a lot for your words. I would be grateful If you kindled answer my question. I applied for the Washington University of Science & technology to pursue my MBA. I am a sponsor for myself. However I don't have any travel history. In this case how should I prepare for an interview as the university is also not so renowned? Your suggestion is highly appreciated.
Previous travel is not a prerequisite to getting a visa. We recommend that you review our online student visa training courses at www.zfvisaguides.com. There, you'll learn how to most effectively communicate with your visa officer to improve your chance of success.
Thanks for your video,I've appreciated it otherwise I've a question,my visa was denied previously and now in my Ds-160 I have one question if my visa was refused previously and I said Yes and they tell me to explain, What I have to write only what was written in my B214 according to my refusal case? Or I've to only say a word but I'll explain clairly in the embassy??
This is a tricky question because you're generally not given a clear reason for a denial. You might simply mention 214b, but we can help you add some more useful details as well. Send us an email to info@zfvisa.com.
